Who Am I?

Hello everyone. My name is Zackee.

I'm a 100% Japanese who is currently based on New York City.

I've been working for Japanese IT company and spend another time for anything I'm interested.

At this blog, I'm going to share anything I learned, felt and thought in my life.

It might be a technical blog as baseline.

Since this is my first post, Let me introduce about myself.

<My History>

I was born on 1991, at Hakodate which is a beutiful city in Hokkaido, Japan. I was raised with my two younger brothers between my father who was a track driver and my mother who was house wife. It was typically "usual" family in Japan. My family were not so rich. However, I was loved by all of my family so we were happy. My family is one of my big reason that I am live.

I started judo when I was 4 years old because my parents forced me. I couldn't understand why I have to do this kind of thing that is really painful and stressful although I've been doing judo for 23 years eventually. I will touch about Judo on another post in the future.

I enjoyed usual time while I was kinder garden, elementally school, and junior high school. I had some chances that I think about "Why we mankind lives?" which will be touched another post as well.

I was really interested in computer and electric stuffs. I often break them down and then finally could not revert it or destroyed operation system on PC which my father was gave by someone. It never booted up...

I didn't understand anything. But I just wanted to try. That was it. I had to decide which way should I go. I was about to graduate junior high. I decided to take a exam for Information Engineering Depertment on Hakodate National College of Technology because of my parents and my interests. Class fee was cheaper due to it's national college and I can take dedicated and sophisticated classes regarding computer which I was interested in.

I requested to go to private school to my parents because my score was not enough to pass. Finally I passed and then I could started my college life. I sometimes about to fail but I totally learned variety of fundamental of information technology then I could graduate with straight! ! I've belonged to Judo club for five years and I proceeded national game when I was five grade.

After I graduate in 2012, I started to work for large IT company in Tokyo. I started to live in Saitama. It was first experience for me to live alone! Single life has started when I was twenty!! It was really tough because I wasn't getting used to cocking, working, and even doing errands. However, it was fun and satisfied! All of things are totally new!!

I assigned and moved to Nagoya after three months training for new employer . Nagoya is one of large city in Japan which was also no relation to me, I felt alone and missed my colleagues. But my new colleagues in there were really kind and warm. I could start career as a customer engineer. The main role which is called maintenance engineer, field engineer or customer engineer was troubleshoot and hardware replacement for our clients who uses IT environment. I was based on Nagoya and supporter our customer by on-sited in Aichi, Mie and Gifu. Sometimes from remote-site. My skills are rapidly improved due to a lot of support by my awesome colleagues. I stopped one of my client's system by my mistake. I don't forget that I really shocked and upset but all of my colleagues followed me up. I started to recognize what company or organization is.

I'd continued to take qualifications regarding IT. CCENT, LPIC 1, CompTIA A+ and MCA Assciate that I took while first years training. I requested HR to take CCNA in advance because I've taken network class in my college.  I've never failed and all of my score was high. So I was slightly big-headed but It made me confidence to keep going. I took CCNP in my second year, CompTIA Network+, Fujitsu SPARK maintenance engineer certificate and NetApp ASE 2 in my third year and then started challenge to take CCIE R&S in my forth year.

I gathered Cisco network equipment and HP Workstation to build practice environment. Just hit to them. I will make another post regarding this. Anyway I passed lab exam and finally I became CCIE on my second challenge. This made me more confident for technical skills.

Prepare for CCIE made me start to learn English as well. I felt demand because many documents or manuals about IT is written in English. It was good chance to start it. CCIE exam and references are in English all times. I will introduce how I learned English on another post. I continued going English school or self study although after I passed CCIE. And then my English level was reached daily conversational. I have experience that stay with host family in London for one week.

My skills became sophisticated additional of English, I decided to change my job. Five years has passed since I joined the company. I wanted to bring my carrier to high position. I talked all of them to my ex-boss and started activity to change my job. I had some options. I anyway started to find SIer. I finally decided to dive into cyber security field due to my interest and trend.

I moved to Yokohama, which is large city next to Tokyo and started to work for SOC, which stands for cyber operation centre. I could join them because they expected my potential but the department has not been while since start up and I had no experience in their field. So it was really painful for my mental. I couldn't be familiar with it. I had stomachache somehow in morning, I felt really bad even weekends. My role was too specified in cyber security. I would like to work more related to whole of IT environment. I fortunately found one offer which was from SIer in LA or NY. I though I could leverage my experience and skills so just tried to apply it. I decided to work for cyber security company what if I failed it.

Finally, I passed as a result of three times interview!!! I've got a VISA and then moved to the states in September of 2018. I currently working for them. I'm in charge of whole of IT environment including cyber security because it is not so large organization.

By the way, I've just started web developing on my private time. I'm currently developing my own web service. I will touch regarding this as well on this blog.

That's it!! Thank you for your reading.
